Repeat the setup, not the quantities
Map the next export with a saved profile.
Save the header choices from a CSV you have reviewed. When the next file moves its columns around, apply the profile by header name and preview the new rows before importing.
What a profile keeps
A profile contains its name and one source header label per assigned worksheet field. It does not keep CSV rows, quantities, source files, dates or count context. Up to twenty profiles fit in a separate 100 KB profile backup.
Column order can change. Meaning still needs review.
A saved mapping for Product code and Physical count follows those named headers when they move. Matching ignores letter case and surrounding spaces. Extra unassigned source columns are allowed. If an assigned header is missing, the whole profile application is rejected; it does not partially remap the form.
A familiar header can still describe a different quantity. Check the location, units, cutoff and source meaning every time. A profile does not determine whether Available means a physical count or whether a return was actually restocked.
Blank assignments stay explicit
Product code and Counted require source columns. Optional movement fields may be unassigned and become zero in the mapped import. The preview lists those zero assignments. Missing assigned columns are errors, not instructions to substitute zero.
Save and transfer profiles separately
Saving or deleting a profile updates its local profile store immediately. Download the profile backup before clearing browser data. Restoring a profile backup replaces only saved mappings after confirmation; worksheet rows and saved count copies are unaffected. Worksheet backups do not include profiles.
Review before replacement
Applying a profile changes column choices only and invalidates any previous import preview. Preview all rows again, then explicitly confirm replacement of the worksheet. Keep the source export outside the app if you need its original record.
