Differences that don’t cancel each other out
Two products can have opposite errors while the combined total balances. BatchTrace reports each product separately, including negative expected balances that deserve another look.

Validation before calculation
Unique product codes, explicit quantities and up to three decimal places. Signed adjustments are allowed; other quantities cannot be negative. Up to 500 products per worksheet.
What comes next
Comma CSV mapping is available: choose source columns, preview the validated batch and confirm replacement. Product code and counted quantity are required; unassigned movements become zero. Linked evidence, shared investigations and team history remain planned. No inventory account is connected.
